What is Tricking Foundations?

Tricking Foundations is our 4-week introductory tricking onboarding.

We'll progressively work through skill-appropriate take-offs, setups, transitions, and shape variations for both vertical and inverted tricks. Students will use the foam padded spring floor and blocks to practice the skill appropriate vertical and horizontal acrobatic tricks and combinations.

Use Foundations to jumpstart your Journey

Generally, we suggest 2 full cycles of tricking foundations. The first time around is packed with new material. Even those with backgrounds in gymnastics, dance, or martial arts will have to relearn old skills in a new context.

The second time around, you will have the bandwidth to pick up on the more technical details.

From there, you will be equipped to start training with our Intermediate Tuesday crew or open sessions.

Just Want to Learn Flips?

If you want to learn just flips, you can also take our 7:30pm Flipping Progressions Classes available for Drop-In.

Tricking Foundations can be taken in conjunction with 4 weeks of the Flipping Progressions class for an additional discount.
