Release of Liability Waiver

The term “RELEASEES” encompasses Seattle Tricking Collective, their officers, officials, agents, and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event.

In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in Seattle Tricking Collective (STC) training sessions, related events and activities, the undersigned acknowledges, appreciates, and agrees that:

  1. The risks of bodily injury and illness (ex: communicable diseases such as MRSA, influenza, and COVID-19) from the activities involved in this program are significant, including the potential for permanent paralysis and death, and while particular rules, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce these risks, the risks of serious injury and illness do exist;
  2. I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation;
  3. I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. I represent that I understand the nature of Tricking and Acrobatic-related activities and represent that I am qualified, in good health, and in proper physical and mental condition to participate in such activities. If I observe any unusual significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the nearest STC owner immediately;
  4. I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS Seattle Tricking Collective, their officers, officials, agents, and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event (“RELEASEES”), WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL INJURY, ILLNESS, DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

By typing my full name below, I confirm that I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT, AND SIGN IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT.

Photo and Video Release

In consideration of participation in Open practices, Classes, Workshops, and Events with STC (excluding private lessons), the undersigned agrees that their likeness or the likeness of their child may be photographed or videotaped and that such image may be edited and/or published in an outlet used to promote or publicize Seattle Tricking Collective.

STC Participation Agreement

In order to remain in good standing with STC and continue to use their facility (AXIS 45), each attendee must uphold a standard of conduct as outlined below.

On the next pages, carefully read and confirm that you understand and agree to comply with the following rules and conditions for which you Shall and Shall Not do.

    I Shall
  1. Pay the requested fee to STC.

    I will bring a card to save on file (only need to do this once) or use mobile pay before the end of session. Refunds will be given on a case-by case basis at the sole discretion of the STC.

  2. Use the space EXCLUSIVELY for Tricking and related activities
    • Tricking
    • Performance Arts
    • Dancing
    • Breakdancing
    • Martial Arts
    • Tumbling
  3. REMOVE and store my outside footwear in the cubby area.
  4. Store my non-alcoholic beverages in a CLOSED container at the cubby area.
  5. Be responsible for all my personal belongings.

    STC will not be held responsible for lost or stolen items within AXIS 45 facility or parking lot.

  6. Be responsible for any trash, mess, or spills I’m involved with on the premises.
  7. TRAIN SAFELY and SUSTAINABLY.
  8. Promptly bring to the attention of STC directors any and all questions, concerns, and complaints regarding safety, inappropriate behavior, and participation agreement violations.

    I Shall NOT
  1. Attempt techniques clearly outside my level.
  2. Enter the premises in the possession of or under the influence of alcohol, marijuana, or illicit substances.
  3. Wear shoes on the spring floor NOR track mud onto the colored puzzle mats
  4. Eat or drink on near the spring floor.

    All beverages (including water) must be consumed off the floor

  5. Vape or smoke in or near the building or surrounding parking lot.
  6. Bring weapons into or near the facility without prior approval.
  7. Take part in nor condone any sort of physical or verbal bullying.
  8. Make any permanent modification to the facility and equipment.

    I will be held responsible for direct and indirect damages I’ve caused at the discretion of the STC.

Parking

Per STC's lease agreement, patrons of Axis 45 shall refrain from parking at the upper lot. Please see image below for designated areas and suggestions on where to park.

  • 230th St
      Immediately exiting our lot to the left, there are usually a few open spots along 230th.
  • 76th St towards the Korean Church
      From 230th st, take a left at the stop sign, and there should be plenty of marked street parking on the right. Past the 228th stoplight, there’s marked parking on both sides.

      At the furthest point, it’s .25mi (5m walk, we’ve checked). any further and you’re at ranch99.

      You can turn right onto 76th as well, but historically, you'll be walking much further.
